Rise up in Prayer
Scarlet Coverings is a force of passionate believers dedicated to fighting exploitations and sexual trafficking of children. We create faith based prayer journals to generate income for non-profit organizations that are on the front lines of rescuing and restoring lives. We believe by giving generously and inspiring women to pray more consistent and intentional prayers we can make a difference to children who need us most. Join our force as we rise up in prayer to save vulnerable children.
“She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household is clothed with scarlet” Proverbs 31:21
10% of our proceeds go to Remember Nhu to prevent vulnerable children from entering the sex trade.
Remember Nhu is a nonprofit organization committed to Ending Child Sex Slavery Through Prevention.
They currently have over 100 homes for children in 16 countries, and have prevented over 2,200 children from being sold.
Scarlet Coverings supports Remember Nhu because we believe that every child deserves a to enjoy childhood. Vulnerable children who are high risk for enduring unimaginable trauma are instead given an opportunity to grow in a loving, supportive environment. Remember Nhu not only provides a safe home for these children but also equips them with the tools they need to become independent and successful adults, including Christian values, educational guidance, and life skills.
"Too many of the world’s children are vulnerable, orphaned, abandoned, or alone. Our children are identified by local members of their community, school teachers, social workers, police and by children already living in our homes. They are either orphaned or their previous caretakers are in crisis from poverty and one or more of the following: addiction, alcoholism, chronic illness, divorce, drugs, gambling and legal issues.
If we identify these vulnerable children before the "bad guys" do, we can remove them from harm’s way before they can be discovered and sold. Our desire is to place at-risk children in a home where they will be safe, loved and given the promise of a bright future. Long-term, by removing the "supply" of atrisk children from the global sex trade in greater quantities through prevention, we make it difficult for this dark market to continue to function."(RememberNhu.org)
